This installation was a collaboration with glass artist Jason Chakravarty. The piece consisted of a large steel sipping container. We then partitioned off a small section at one end, and using an industrial squirrel cage fan, we created a positive pressure in the smaller room. The air had nowhere to escape except through a small window like hole in the center of the wall. In front of the wall was a bench like protrusion that had a set of blown glass vessels perched atop steel rods. The air from the fan forced the glass to move around violently clanking into one another. The entire installation was an exercise in sensation, with the addition of neon light and several tropical scented air fresheners, one could not help but become fully aware of being affected by the space.
